City Floodplain

These data represent all floodplain delineations for which the city has records, as far back as the 1980s. The data also include current and future floodplains awaiting FEMA approval. These delineations are not an asset that the city maintains, but rather boundaries that dictate permitting and other development restrictions inside city limits.

Floodplain delineations in this feature class are dissolved and merged based on FLOODPLAIN, FEMAZONE, ADOPTYR and DRAINAGE. Where they exist, "Shallow", 10-, 25-, 50-, and 200-Year floodplains are also delineated.
