Public Trees

Public Trees managed by the Urban Forestry Division of the Department of Parks and Recreation, City of Boulder. The provided tree data does not include trees on Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP) land. City ordinances prohibit the picking of fruit on trees located on OSMP property. For a list of unique tree species contained in this dataset please see https://bouldercolorado.gov/open-data/public-tree-species/.

This dataset is located in our GIS data portal which gives you access to the most current and up-to-date data possible. Through the interface, you can download the full dataset or a filtered dataset in three formats: CSV, KML, and Shapefile. If you want to connect to the data via a URL, you can find the REST or GeoJSON endpoint. The interface allows you to interact and visualize the data before downloading it.
